Your Natural State of Grace

“In your natural state there is no difficulty, because it is a state of grace.” Or.Ed.Tx.12.107 ACIM

It can be so easy to get weighed down by all the things on our to do list, worries about how things will work out, and internal pressures about all we think we need to fix or accomplish. It’s been a long and up and down ride, but I think I’m finally figuring out how much easier life can be when I learn to live in a state of grace…my natural state.

In another version of the course I recall it saying, “for in your natural state there is no effort at all, because your natural state is a state of grace.” I’ve come to realize that any time I catch myself feeling pressure, stress, or heaviness, I need to just stop and breathe and rest back into

. Yesterday, as I was feeling weighed down by the weight of all I thought I needed to accomplish, I felt a gentle nudge to take 20 mins to walk in the park and do just that…rest back into

It was a little while…first the mind chatter….then a few tears for I’m not sure what…(I think I passed another woman doing just the same thing. Her cheeks looked a little wet too). And then as I breathed with God and just began to let go of the mind stuff, I soon was able to notice the color of the trees again and remember the Love that created all of it. And then that sense of grace returned. When I arrived home, I picked up some of the writings that it seems

has dictated to me in the past week. This one I need to read over and over….

Anytime you feel heavy or pressured, it is because you have forgotten who you are and your natural state with Me.

For in surrender of the ego mind, do you learn a life of perfect ease.
No more is there need for worry or striving.

In allowing yourself to join with Me, you remember the dance of our Union.
You remember that your part is simply to let Me lead. Easily I will guide you.

No longer must you do anything of your own accord.

Trust in My love.
Trust in My Power.

Trust that My will for you is perfect joy and peace and that you know your completion in Me.

Rest in Me, My child.
Always rest in Me.

You are not alone and there is nothing you must do alone.
Trust and surrender all to Me and the Power of Our Union.
I will not fail you.

Today I invite you to return with me, back into your natural state. Let go the efforting. Let go the striving. Rest. Rest with until all resistance, all pressure, all the mind messages simply let go. And there you will find all peace, all energy, all Power restored to you. Then will you go through your day led by grace, peace and inspiration.
